Karabiner-Elementsを12.0.0へアップデートしたところキーボード配列が変わってしまい、Virtual keyboradタブにあったKeyboard Typeも消えていた。

Keyboard type in the virtual keyboard preferences has been removed. (Adverse effect of virtual keyboard improvement.) Please change the keyboard type from System Preferences > Keyboard > Change Keyboard Type….

ということでMacの システム環境設定 -> キーボードの種類を変更 からキーボード設定アシスタントでキーボードの種類を認識、設定すればOK。
